“North was held to just six points in the third and KP doubled its lead before halftime. The Warriors kept rolling in the third, outscoring the Rocketeers 24-7. North did rally in the fourth, scoring 20 points, to cut the lead to 28. Maryellen Charette scored eight in the fourth and Sam Sweeney added six. Charette finished with a team-high 16 and Sweeney scored eight. The game was also a fundraiser for the For Kids’ Sake Foundation which raises money to fight childhood cancer in memory of KP middle schooler Malia Jusczyk.”
