“Taunton scored 19 points in the third quarter to open up a little cushion and pulled out its first win of the season. North struggled out of the gates and got into early foul trouble. Taunton took advantage to lead 12-6 after one. The Rocketeers cut the gap to two heading into the locker room, but the Tigers outscored them 19-13 in the third to build a 40-32 lead. North wasn’t able to close the deficit in the fourth. Ava Pratt scored in double digits for the second straight game, leading North with 11 points. Sam Sweeney added eight and Maggie LeCompte and Jordan Egan both scored seven points.”
