Varsity Girls Fall to Franklin, 60-35

In their second matchup of the season, a loss to Franklin ends North’s 3-game winning streak. Amelia Leighton scored 13 in her second game against her father, Franklin coach John Leighton, including eight of North’s 13 in the second half. Katie Corsetti scored five, all in the first half.

The JV girls fell 45-29 to a very good Franklin team. North stayed strong through halftime tied at 15-15 but lost steam in the second half. Emily Tucker paced the North girls scoring with 13 points. Up next is a home matchup with KP on Tuesday the 13th.
