After Strong Start, North Suffers Loss to OA, 36-42

North kicked off the night with a strong lead, finishing the first quarter 12-5 over OA. They went into the half time break with a 24-14 lead. However, the third quarter saw OA start to take control, outscoring North 16-9. The Tigers ended up overtaking the lead late in the game, beating the Rocketeers 42-36. Maryellen Charette led the team with 7 points. Gracyn Cuzzi, Sam Sweeney, Jordan Egan, and Isabella Houghton all scored 6 points apiece.

North JV Wins 50-45 vs Oliver Ames

First quarter ended 9-8 in favor of North with all 9 coming from Riley Rea. In the second Rea continued the scoring along with Jeny O’Hara and Karoline Maier who connected on a deep three. North finished the first half up 22-18. Third quarter offense was powered by Jeny O’Hara, Jocie Robichaud and Maier capped it off with a Payton Pritchard esque buzzer beater to extend North’s lead to 36-28. Oliver Ames continued to be a formidable opponent in the fourth. But Maier and Rea continued their red hot multi-game shooting streak to earn a hard caught victory.
